Run the cheesiest race of the year, right here in Orchard Park! The 6th annual Grill-Mato 5K & Kid’s Race is your perfect winter warm-up, ending with the ultimate comfort combo: a hot grilled cheese and tomato soup waiting at the finish line. ?????? The kid's race will take place at 9am and then be followed by the 5k at 9:30am. ?? Registration is officially open now, and prices go up on January 20th, 2026. The first 200 registrants by February 7th will receive the limited-edition 2026 Grill-Mato long sleeve, don’t miss it! ?? After you cross the finish line, head to The Byrdhouse for the post-race party and awards ceremony. ?? Awards include: • Overall Male & Female Winners • Top Male & Female Masters • Top 3 Males & Females in 5-year age groups all the way through 80+ ?? Kid’s Run Details: • Medals for the top 3 boys and top 3 girls • Participation ribbons for all remaining runners, everyone finishes a winner! This community-driven training run is open to all runners, all paces, and all clubs, with distances designed to support both Buffalo Half and Full Marathon training.
